Just saying thanks to MARTINSR(sorry I don't know your real name) for your "basics of basics" posts. My wife and I hung the doors on my 72 tonight, and your earlier post this year on "basics of basics" of panel alignment made it go without a hitch. I hope it goes as smoothly with the fenders and hood http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif The info that you take the time to give us(BEFORE the questions are asked) is invaluable, especially to a novice such as myself. Thanks again, Dennis

MARTINSR.....I have been faithfully reading every post you put your name on, gathering information for when the day comes that my SS will "come together". I hope that you are still around when that day comes, because with my luck I willhave a "new" problem for you to solve.

Thanks from all of us....

I have to join in and praise MartinSr for his unbelievable writings. They are so informative. I have been reading them for over a year since I found this site. I have never found another site with such a dedicated writer, prepared to solve every problem and share his every experience. I live in Canada, but some day I want to meet in person to shake his hand, as others have said.

Boy you guys are making me blush. Remember, there are a lot of visitors and contributers to this site and I am just a small piece. I may pop out because I don't shut my mouth. I thank you all, Brian

Put me in on the praise also, I am in the middle of rebuilding a 71 SS396 and have used your "pointers" to ask questions of prospective boby shops. Its surprises me how many shops are not interested in providing 1st class service. Brian, using your suggestions and asking the "shops" your questions have helped me weed out the crooks. Should I ever have the chance to meet you it would be a pleasure to shake your hand.

Regards,
