I have a '70 Elky and I know it originally came with a fuel tank vent line. Where did the other end go? Did it go to a fuel vapor canister and where was it mounted? Is it still available by anyone and is there a part# for it? Sorry about all the questions but I need to know. Thanks!

The rear end goes to the fuel meter (sending unit) and the front end under the hood goes to the small fitting on the fuel pump. Line size is 1/4"

Someone had cut the line on mine. I looked at the fuel pump and there is no open port on it that looks like the place where it would attach to. Am I missing something? My car is a factory A/C car and has that style fuel pump. Where would the brake vapor line go to?

There's a lot of confusion about fuel vent and fuel return lines. Beginning with 1970, GM standard was:
Fuel Line - 3/8" (goes to fuel pump)
Fuel Return Line - 1/4" (goes to the fuel pump, not all cars have one)
Fuel Vent or Vapor Line - 5/16" (goes to vapor cannister located in the drivers side front of the engine compartment on Chevelles)
