This month's Popular Hot Rodding has a feature on a '57 Nomad wagon that was painted with "silver pearl" over Chromate yellow then clear coated. It was done with PPG products.

My question is....could this be done over Viper Red to give a unique custom look to the red. I would like to go with Candy red but think this might look good over red....

Does anyone have any experience with custom painting like this? Your input would be appreciated.
