I have been steadly working the bugs out of the '69 since I put the new 496 motor in this winter. I came accross my newest problem while working on the brake problem, I found the cause of the wierd fling noise I have been hearing. One of the new fly wheel bolts came loss or broke and has been flying around inside the flywheel cover, pinging my new flywheel cover all to hell! The bolts where new ones that came with the new TCI stall. They had the locking type threads on the nuts. I know that I got them tight. I plain on keeping the cover off and keeping a close eye on the bolts. Does anyone have any other ideas that may be causing the bolts to lossen up or brake?
