396 425hp is 65 corvette..could be the reason for the high price. Thats my guess.

No, its for a 396/425 horse full size 65 (biscayne/bel air/impala). Take a real close look at the float bowls. They were only used on 1965 cars..... they are also the bowls you will need for your Z16 restoration. Bowls alone go for $400.00 a pair, if you can find them. There is a matching air cleaner on right now that is over $900.00 and will probably go for about 2 grand.

The straight 3310s (no dashes) weren't a real common carb even in 1965. They sold a lot of 3310-1s over the counter for years even though they are pretty much the same carb the numbers matching guys can get carried away. Personally it looks awfull rough to spend much money on.
