sportster Oct 10th, 02, 11:18 AM My SS hood on my 72' has a slight bend in the middle. When looking at it there a a crack at on of the stamping towards the outer middle. Has other people had this problem? How would I straighten it out? Should I try to push down on it with it closed and weld up the crack? 72SS454Chevelle Oct 10th, 02, 2:07 PM Hey good question because I noticed on mine that the drivers side point between the center and the headlight has a slight bow upwards on it.
