Is there anyway to determine what torque converters I have? I still plan on installing my fresh mild 396 soon, and have a newly rebuild (never installed) t350 with new TQ, that came with the car (not installed). No history or paperwork, and have no idea what the converter is and how “rebuilt” the trans is. I’ve read sometimes colors help distinguish brands, but can’t find anything while researching this, also found no numbers anywhere. I plan on giving it a shot and “seeing” if I like it. Any ideas? I also have two other trans/TQ’s I could try, with one also being a “new” one, per the seller of my Camaro project. I had the trans rebuild sheet for that one, but no converter info. I would love to sell a couple t350’s to get an OD, but without paperwork, they’re worth very little - so in they go for now, OD later.

Take a peek and see what numbers are stamped into the converter, and email me once you get the info. I may be able to help...
