I finally found some nice spark plug heatshields. I glass bead blasted them and replated the zinc. I had to remove the exhaust manifolds to get to the holes in the block to put in the bolts that hold them in. It was a pain just to put these on, and I don't want them coming loose. Would you guys recommend using locktight on the threads?

I"d think twice about putting locktite on them in this area. Maybe a little antiseize and lockwashers.

My 1st thought would be if GM did'nt use locktite,why should you? They will not back off.
