Hi...

I have a '70 SS El Camino and was looking at the tailgate molding. I noticed I only have the two long strips that fit on the tailgate itself. I noticed that '69 El Caminos have four little pieces that are on the body near the tail lights that extend this molding line. There are two on each side. I've looked everywhere for a decent picture of what a '70 tail section should look like. Does anyone know if there are supposed to be these small pieces for the '70 models too? Also, does anyone have some nice pictures of their El Camino tail section?

Thanks,
Al

They're not used for 70 thru 72. 68/69 tailight assemblies are different.

Here's how my 72 looks www.chevelles.com/showroom/newpaint4.jpg (http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/newpaint4.jpg)
