Anyone have anytips for locating / installing the retainer clips on the inside of a new set of door panels? they don't come with any indication of how or where to install these.--Thanks

You can hang the door panel on the door without the clips. After positioning the panel correctly, put some grease or other marking compound on one finger. Pull the panel out away from the door slightly, reach in between the panel and door and feel the plastic inserts the clips go into with a dry finger. Put the marking compound on the inserts with the other finger then push the door panel against the door to mark it. Remove the panel and install the clips to position the "male" portion to correspond with the marks.

What brand of door panels are those? The new PUI panels I put on my previous 69 had little dashed lines formed into oval shapes in the backing. You had to use a utility knife and cut out where the dashed lines were - kind of a PITA, but it worked. The clips then slipped into these oval cutouts, much like the originals.

Upon closer examination the knockouts are there. They were partially covered by the vinyl. They are PUI's. Guess I got excited too soon. Thanks.
