The Holley 4160 for my '67 396 uses a bimetal coil in the intake manifold to control the choke. The carb is freshly restored, but the coil in the intake and the mechanism that connects it to the carb is missing.

Does anyone know if one can buy these parts? Any idea where? Parts #s, etc? Thanks!

I think any of the suppliers carry them, Ground Up, Year One, NPD, etc.

Standard ignition has the coils and covers, I just got one for a 67 Vette from my local parts store. You will probably have to go to a "real" parts store though, not one of the "Big Box" chains.

Thanks. I found the "choke kit" at a nearby shop that sells reproduction Chevelle parts. Although it was correct for my '67 396, the choke rod that goes from the bimetal spring to the carb choke lever was much too long. After cutting and rebending it, the choke now works fine!!
