Does anybody know where I can find a pair of those gaskets for my 66. I have been looking around with no luck. Thank You

Try Hinshaw's Chevelle Parts (336)586-0802
They have them for a 67, and I feel sure a 66 is the same.

Hey guys!! Forgive me for jumping in, but speaking of quarter panel extension gaskets, should I assemble the gaskets & extensions back on the car before painting, resulting in the gasket edges being painted body color or should I paint the extensions off the car, then install them, resulting in the gaskets being their "new gasket" color & not the body color??? I should have taken more pictures 4 years ago when I took it apart!! Thanks for any suggestions. Odie.

I would keep the gaskets clean in my opinion.

Paint the car with the fender exctensions off of the car, even though you won't see the gaskets after the car is assembled. By the way, almost every Chevelle restoration parts house has the gaskets.
