I'm hoping that you have received the info pack
that you can get from GM of Canada.

Somewhere in it, it would tell how many
1970 Chevelle coupes with an LS5 were
built in Canada and sold in the U.S.
That is what I really hope to find out.

If you do not have the info pack,
then let me know, I can tell you
how to get one. It costs about $45,
but it is great documentation,
since it includes information specific
to your VIN number, such as what options
were originally installed.

Too bad U.S.-built cars do not have
this service !

R. Daunais, the number to call is 1-905-644-4060/3387. Have your vin# ready and a credit card. George Zapora is the one dealing with the Option Package. This a great package. It is worth it. It will cost you $40.00 Canadian dollars. That will be approx. $27.00 US dollars. My wife is trying to discourage me from selling the Chevelle. I have invested some money on the car and do not want to loose any money. Also I do not want to leave it in storage for three years. I will let you know.
