Hi, New to the board. In the process of getting my 71ss repainted. Question is should the stripe edges be smooth or should there be an edge to them? Also does anyone know of a picture of a 71 painted code 78 rosewood metalliac? Thinking of painting it this color but would like to see it on another car before i do it. Thanks Bob

They should be smooth under the clearcoat.

Smooth, under the clear is a nice, clean look, but it wouldn't be correct. The stripes were painted on top of the body color originally, so there would be a ridge...
