I plan on replacing the old tank with one from Ground Up or a supplier like that. My question is, should I keep the current sending unit and neck or will I need to buy the whole new setup ?

Where is the best place to buy a new tank for a '70 ? TIA

John...I bought three tanks from Quanta (www. quantaproducts.com) and they were all good tanks. I also replace the senders because it's too much of a hassle to replace them if something goes wrong later.
The Quanta tanks also have the filler neck on them so you won't have to deal with that...
