My passenger side door has never opened from the outside, nor has the lock ever worked since I purchased it last year. When I took the inside panel off I saw that the rods connecting the lock to the latch and the outside button to the latch were both missing. Can these rods be purchased new anywhere? If I have to buy them used, are there other GM cars that match my 72? Thanks.

Don't think you can get them new anywhere. Any A body 68-72 should be the same and I think even 4 door cars will work.
