Hey guys, im trying to finish up my little wiring mess tonight. My distributor is a mallory HEI. Only have the tach and the IGN wires coming off the Dist. Before on the small block the IGN wire went to IGN on the fuse box. Now it isnt hot anymore.... so ACC yes, works fine. But IGN on the box has no power. So somewhere under the hood I need to find that wire and give it juice?

It looks like there is power going in under the hood, tough to tell but i think its ok. A while back I had a problem like this, There is a really really small fuse, a little 4 bus fuse under the IGN on the fuse box, that looks blown. Could it be that?

Could be the fuse. You mentioned the ACC on the fuse box, don't hook it there. That will power the ignition when the key is in ACC and engine off. May want to post this in electrical forum if you need additional ides.

why not just pull the inner fender panel down to get to the back side of the fusepanel and trace the wire that went to the point distributor and unbolt the panel and pull it out and replace it with a pink colored copper wire to get rid of the resistor wire and be done with it and have it look perfect. it's not that hard and any wiring shop will have the end connector for the fuse panel side of the wire. i have a bunch up here on the north side of sacto. and i have the pink wire also
