Sorry about the non-Chevelle question. I am restoring one of these for a friend. The GM weatherstrip (door, roofrail) is still available but is really expensive compared to the reproduction stuff. Has anybody used the repro stuff? How's it fit? Don't want to buy the repro stuff unless the quality is decent. Thanks!

IMHO: Nothing fits or works as good as the factory stuff. Second choice, once again in my opinion, is Metro Molding.

Metro gets good marks. I've never been disappointed and can't remember an instance of anybody else reporting less than well satisfied.

Metro is the best out there. A 15 year warrenty really shows that they have a great product. We stock all the 2nd generation weather strip, and have complete kits. Our link is in my sig.
