hey, i have a '72 malibu 4 door sports sedan, and the knob on the exterior lights is missing. I have an intire new knob with the rod attached. My problem is the rod from the orgional one is still in the dash and it wont come one. Do I need to pull apart the whole dash, or can I just pull and it will come out? what can I do? thanks for any help!
