I have a 66 Chevelle. The metal near the right corner of my rear window had developed bubbling nodule of rust. I never took care of the problem, I've been told it's a common problem with Chevelles, Malibus and Monte Carlos, but now I must. The nodule gave way to reveal a small hole. I've filled in the gap with silicone as a temporary fix. However, there are nodules developing on the left side as well as on the roof near the rain rail above the doors. First, what can I do to fix the rear corner. I've been told three possible solutions: 1)Find a Chevelle and take the part off it, 2)Have a body shop take mine off, cut off the piece and fabricate and weld a new piece to it 3) have it fixed with fiberglass(How this is done, I don't know). Which is the most viable solution? Also, how much would it cost me now and how much would it cost to fix the ones ones the roof? Any help you be greatly, greatly appreciated.
