The gap between the front edge of my hood and the grille too wide. (with the hood shut of course) It's widest gap is at the center point of the hood. Has anyone else had this problem?

How wide is the gap??

I've noticed that on mine - looks like it's "too high" in the center, but OK on the sides. Repop hood, I guess that's where my trouble lies.

Sorry for the slow response. The gap is probably about 1 1/2 inches in the center, maybe 3/4 or less next to the headlight doors. The increase in the gap is quite obvious. I have tried a different GM hood with the same results. I hope my problem is in the grille/brackets area. I am in the building stages and will tackle this after first of the year.

I can't get at mine to measure it, but I'm sure it's not that much. Hopefully, a little grill "shift" will help you; maybe someone with more knowledge in this area will chime in. Good luck.
