I did a search on welders and it seems like everyone is happy with all the different brands. I just wanted to see if anyone has tried the Cambell/Hausefeild that Lowe's sells. It comes with the mig set up,accesories, and it even has wheels. $300. They also have the Lincoln for $309,no mig, add $100. Sears has their Professional model, mig, assories, and it's the only one of the three that can do 1/4" steel. $500. The salesman said he thought that Lincoln made the Sears, But wasn't sure. I'm leaning towards the Sears because of the 1/4" thick stock. How thick is a car frame. Has anyone tried the Sears model, Or is it a joke. If in fact it's made by Lincoln, seems like it would be ok. I'll have to check on that. Any thoughts. Plus the Sears model would match my compressor http://www.chevelles.com/forum/rolleyes.gif Thanks.
