Hey guys i need help. I have the bumper filler panels that go behind the front and rear bumpers on a 78 Nova. The problem I am Having is filler panels are the old plastic and the primer and paint keeps flaking off. What can be used to keep the primer and paint on??

I havn't done any painting in a looooong time, but I am pretty sure there are special preperations you have to do with the "plastic" parts. There is probably a special cleaner, then I am fairly sure you have to add a "plasticiser" to the paint to allow it to flex. I am sure someone else will chime in with the answer. If not, check with your local Mattos or wherever you got the paint, they should be able to tell you what you need.

You need some flexible bumper and panel products. Regular paint won't work. Go find a good paint store and they fix you up.
