Sold my 65 in July, but I took a pretty good picture of whats covered in spatter from the factory. I removed some of it from the trunk floor due to some surface rust. Drop me a line and I'll send it to you.

If you want a realistic representation of what it was like, do this: After the trunk is painted along with wheel wells hinges deck lid and back of seat. Get your spray gun or what ever you are going to use and start spraying the splatter paint by leaning into the trunk over the lower panel, just paint everything you can reach, including the lower part of the hinge. Don't worry about getting up under the package tray or over the top of the wheel wells. Just what you can reach with out much trouble and just what you can see if yu are standing at the back of the car looking into an empty trunk. The floor should be done just up to where the lower panel hits it. DON'T MASK A SINGLE THING, and just paint what you can see while standing there upright looking at the trunk. That is the closest you can get to what they did. And like my buddy did while we discussed how to install the jack instruction decal....he went back from the car a few feet, then ran at it and stuck the sticker on the run! Then said "that is probably the way it got done at the factory" http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
