I'm getting ready to paint the '70 in the next few weeks (Astro Blue, Chromabase BC/CC, HVLP). Any ideas on how much paint and clear (sprayable) I'll need? I'll also be doing the inside of the trunk deck, doors, and jambs. Thanks, Scot

Just to give you a reference, I recently painted my 68 1/2 ton shortbed Chevy (painted jams, inside interior, all edges and engine compartment, firewall) and used only 3 quarts of base (6 quarts sprayable) and 1 gallon of clear (2 coats only) In the end, I have 1 quart sprayable base leftover and NO clear. This was chromabase BC/CC high silver mix green.
Advise, buy over what you think you will need, a gallon of color and 5-6 quarts of clear not mixed. This will give you plenty for mistakes and future blends/repairs if needed. Better to be safe than sorry, I almost was running thin on clear.

If you get your color in quart cans, ask for a new gallon can too. Pour all your paint into one can and mix, then pour it back in your quart cans. This ensures color match. I didn't do this and my last quart was mixed wrong so my final coat of paint was different then the rest of the car.
