I started noticing this werid Clank sound. It would happen when I was acceleration from a dead stop, or flooring it while already going. I had my dad listen to the sound, and he thought it was a u-joint. I jack it up etc and take a look at things. I try to turn the drive shaft. I turn the drive shaft. CLANK. I turn it again CLANK both ways. I turn it again to see if it makes the noise before the wheel turns, sure enough, CLANK. BUT, it doesn't make any sounds when im already going, like if im just crusing long, nothing, but when i start/stop or accelerate I get a pretty bad sounding clank. Whats up ?

Sounds like you need to take the cover off and inspect it. If the retaining bolt has bkoken and is allowing the cross shaft to slip back and forth you may be in for a big supprise when the rear end locks up at speed.
