It will be one of the last pieces I need to get the '70 back on the road (tho I haven't gotten the tranny back yet) and I was looking for some suggestions.

This will be a 168 tooth piece for 700R-4 mated to an internally balanced 355. I wouldn't mind stepping up to a SFI one for piece of mind. What do you guys use?

Not really needed, but not a bad idea. They are not very expensive.

Pat, what brand do you prefer? I've only tried parts store stuff (Pioneer, etc.) in regards to flywheels in the past. Anyone see any brands with excessive runout? Thanks!

Justin, I would go with the SFI unit, as you said, for piece of mind, isnt' you converter SFI?
also, I noticed you said that it will be an internally ballanced 355, the last time I heard that, the guy ended up with a broken damper from a V6 on it, now thats a long, funny story that I won't go into lol.

Stitchop, I'm not sure what you mean by a SFI converter. :p

And there's not telling what that ole damper went to. It WAS itty bitty, tho. :)
