hi on my 70 chevelle on my rear view mirror i pop it out do anyone know where i can send it to get it re mirror? did that sound right? my glass guy said he cant cut me another one because its curved like thicker at the top and get thinner at the bottom. i just figure it would be cheaper than a reproduction. thanks storm

I just got my rearview mirror glass out of a junkyard. They sold me the whole mirror and housing for $5. The glass itself was a very common GM part on a lot of cars. I pulled mine out of a mid 70's Cadillac. You need to inspect the glass closely because the first 3 mirrors I looked at had black spots on them. This was the same reason I was replacing mine.

i can give that a shot i like walking junk yards any way just thought there be a place that can redo them .

Make sure you measure your mirror before you go. I got one out of a caddy that fit after wasting 3 bucks on one from a Buick because I guessed the first time. :clonk:
