I have a set of rear bumper guards for my chevelle. It has the screws, washers and 2 rubber spacers. Where do the spacers go? Between the top of bumper and the guard itself? TIA

No spacers on my bumper guards, sure yours are for a 69? Mine have a hole in the bumper that a bolt screws in the guard from the back side of the bumper for the upper mount and the lower mount is a nut and bolt deal that fits through a tab on the bumper itself.

They are for a 69. these have the same mounting points as you described. They were with the nuts, bolts, and washers. How's the family doing? We're all doing good here.

One more question, the template I have to drill the hole for the top nut says to line up with the top edge of bumper, then it has an arrow that say align with a symbol of a C with a L going through the C. What does that symbol stand for?

Not sure, I didn't have a template to work with. Used a tape measure and a sharp drill.
The family is good.

The C over an L is the standard drafting symbol for "centerline". The symbol is usually written next to or at the end of a fine line drawn thru the center of a part, and it just means this line runs thru the the center of the part in question.
