I got a phone call recently, with a question that might be answered with data from the Chevelle Registry. I don't know if it is still current, or if it can be accessed. I did a search and the discusion I found was quite old, including this,

"Count me as an interested party also. I've sent a couple emails to names associated with this process on this website.....no response ever offered. Certainly would expect individual's data would not be shared but like earlier post would be nice to see a summation of different data that might safely be shared such as ....* how many of a certain model..* average age of Chevelle owner....* breakdown of ownership by region...* on and on.
Was there ever a "master plan" for what this data might be used for or was it always just for registering in case your auto was stolen"

What is the status of this registry, and is it available for use by us?

I *guess* there is no way to see what's there

Not sure what the purpose of it is

What was the original purpose for the "chevelle registry".

I've been able to search the registry. I've searched both the 66 and 67 data. It is only accessable to paying members (in the Members Area). Non-paying members can input information (from the link on the Home page), but can not search.

I had made inputs some years ago. I wanted to revise some of the information because of type O's I could not edit my input. I asked at one time what was the purpose and how do you use it. I never received an answer.
