Where in Riverside? I'm in Mira Loma with a '69. I know there's a lot of people with hot rods out here. My sister has a '69 Camaro and her husband a '55 Bel Air.

There's a lot of people from LA on this board too.

Have a brother-in-law just retired living in Riverside and a sister-in-law just down the road in Mentone/Redlands. Great area around there. There is a NASCAR race this Sunday you know.

Yeah...there's a few of us LA guys on here but Riverside is a bit of a hike.

I'm near Redlands as well (Loma Linda) and I'd love a meet. My Chevelle is in TN right now being restored, but a few buddies have Camaros (68,69) that would be there. I'd love to check out some fellow TC members' rides.

Redlands/Yucaipa area here too.

Wyatt, why is your Chevelle being restored in TN?

There are a few local shows coming up, and the Veterans Car Show in October will be a huge draw (it used to be in November every year, but it's being changed this year).

Well, I'm from TN originally, but my wife and I came out here for school. Been here 6 years now. My uncle lives in TN and restores and rebuilds wrecked cars for a living. He's had the Chevelle I bought from him for years, and he just started restoring it for me a few months back. I enjoy the work, I'm just nowhere as good as my uncle and the guys that work for him. Plus, he has most of the parts there that the car will need.

Yeah, isn't the limit 100 cars? Seems a bit low for the turnout, which was pretty good this year. Mine won't be done by then, but I'll be there checking out others' cars for sure. Closer to that time, we should post something in the Cruise-ins section of the forum.

I live in Corona. There are a ton of car related things going on around here.

There is the cruise in at Tuxies on the 2nd Friday of each month.

The John Force Race Station in Yorba Linda every last Wednesday of the month and every Sat night in July. They will have a car show there on March 26th.

There is also a great car show in downtown La Verne on the 26th – the Cool Cruise.

Over the Hill car show in Berdoo – April 10th

Orange Plaze at the circle in Orange – April 17th

Riverside car show May 13, 14 15th

An all Chevelle car show is in June (I think) at El Dorado Park in Long Beach

And don’t miss the Route 66 show Sept 16 – 18th
