Quick Survey. The topic of earliest LS6 has been covered before. I am curious to know what the LATEST build date is for a 1970 Chevelle LS6. I am assuming they probably built these into July, but would be interested to see what you have or have had.

To get things started, I have a 06E (per cowl tag) build date and a 06-30 (per build sheet) scheduled build date.

Mine's not the last, but it's a late one. Scheduled date was 6-15.

What plant was yr LS6 built at.? What are the particulars of your car? I posted this same question at the Yenko.net site and one fellow mentioned he had a collection of build sheets and one from another plant had a build date in late July. he was able to determine from some paperwork he has that although my 06E cowl tag date would indicate a June build date he was able to determine that my car was actually built in early July. the cowl tag is when the car is started to be assembled.
