I have to move and can not take my 69 ss with me. I have been restoring it for about 1 year. I want to put it for sale around here or ebay and need a good exstimate for setting a reasonable price. NADA.com rates it at LOW: $13K AVG: $20K
Here is what the car currently has (about 90% resto so far, but will finish up the rest):
-1969 SS Chevelle
-New $2500 Paint (BC CC Original color: Lt Blue Metalic.
-350 SB with TH400
-3.55 12 bolt rearend
-All new black interior (bench seat, rear seat, dash pad, carpet, headliner, package tray, door panels, rear quarter panels, restored dash.. everything is sparkling)
-original restored SS 14" wheels with Interceptor tires (80% tread)
-All new trim, grille, emblems, wheel well molding
-Just finished undercoating.

I just put the wheels and tires on today and it REALLy looks like a sweet car... I dont want to get rid of it. I am however keeping my 68ss so im not velle'less just yet!
Anyone give me a decent sale price that is not a steal and is not overly priced?

Thanks,

Not having the original big block would probably lower the NADA price considerably.

Probably bring $30,000.00 on Ebay. :D

Run it over to the Chevy store on Stark in Portland and then down to the the Chev Connection(towards 122nd). Those guys can give you a quick estimate of what it might bring in the local market. Otherwise your best bet is to list it on Ebay with a reserve for what you want out out of it. If it sells for more then you know you were low on your price. If it doesn't sell then you might rethink your price. Good Luck. Another option is to list here on TC in the CLASSIFIEDS www.chevelles.com/classifieds (http://www.chevelles.com/classifieds) with a make offer and see what happens. Regionally I believe the PNW is a little lower than other parts of the country when selling local. Most of the high dollar stuff I have seen usually leaves the area.

Missing the BBC is going to make it a tough sell to be called an SS. Most folks are going to lean towards it being a clone, unless you have some serious documentation. Good Luck on your move.

As everyone mentioned,w/o the big block makes it tough..I would ask $16K for it.
