I wanted to remove the grille on my '67 El Camino but lo'and behold the former owner put pop rivets in the top and bottom. How do you remove them? They are attached to the black frame cross piece and the body on the bottom. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/confused.gif

drill them out.. just use a drill bit a little larger than the hole in the rivet and drill slowly, once the top of each rivet comes off you cane safely remove the grille..

Hanky just FYI the rivets are OEM. I replaced mine with some real nice chrome button heads, looks great
