While at the Carlisle swap meet on saturday, I watched a guy demonstrating a Henrob torch. I was impressed! Back about a year and a half ago, I wanted to buy a Mig welder and someone (on this site?) recommended a Henrob. It sounded good, but without knowing anything more about it and not seeing a demo, I bought the mig. I'm happy with my Miller 175, but this Henrob seems like it does so much more for half the price! During the demo, he cut 1/2" steel with a fine line with no trouble, welded a continuous bead on steel and aluminum, and mentioned that the only metal it won't weld is titanium. He said it will cut up to 1" thick steel and the literature states it will weld cast iron. Sounds too good to be true-is it?
Thanks,
Rich
