would you guy's know if the dynomax 86110 will fit a 67 ss chevelle? i looked in there catalog and it said yes, but i've heard different on this site?

I am pretty sure those are the headers I have, and I am also pretty sure they WERE previuosly listed for the 66-67 Chevelle (I have bought two sets). But the last set I bought was in 2000 or 2001. I had trouble fitting both sets... They hit the crossmember and needed to be dimpled, as well as hit the upper control arms (not alot of shims either), but "self-clearanced" themselves there... Maybe they were listed in an older catalog, but DynoMax realized they don't fit. Rather than modify and build a new header, maybe they just changed the application... Mytmouse Jan 4th, 05, 8:35 AM I have a set of Dynomax headers on my 67. Installed by a custom exhaust system shop (not in businsess anymore) about 5 or 6 years ago. Not sure what the # is but will see if my records have that information when I get home. Driver side fit fine but the passenger side needed "modifying". Hit the frame if I rememember correctly. Both sides had to go in from the boottom and the engine had to be raised slightly to get them in. My recollection from Dynomax at the time was that they were having trouble with their jig and why these were off some.
