I am about to install my Pypes exhaust system, but I cannot figure out how the tailpipe hangers fit to the frame. From what I have read, the hanger should have a tab that fits to the top of the frame and the rubber mount will hang outside the frame to hold the tail pipe. I cannot find the two holes in the frame to attach to (bolt hole and locating tab hole) Furthermore the Pypes hanger appears to be designed to attach to the side of the frame.

Does any one have pics??? I have exhausted (no pun intended) all search ideas in this forum.

I have those installed also. The hangers have to be twisted 90 deg, then it will make sense. The metal part lays on top of the frame, retaine by 1 bolt. The rubber hangs down the outside of the frame, perpendicular to the tailpipe.

I think I am going to order some hangers from GU. From the pictures in the catalogue, I can see that they install as I remember, from the top of the frame rail.

the tailpipe hangers we include in the system are a-body hangers and are only exact for Chevelles without Chrome extensions option. That may be why you are not finding the holes.
