gigem Dec 16th, 04, 7:47 PM Doug's Headers get my vote in every category except price. They are high!
Bob West Dec 16th, 04, 9:53 PM A lone vote for the 1.75"/3" Dynomax cerma-coated headers graemlins/thumbsup.gif
427L88 Dec 16th, 04, 10:12 PM not for a 67, Bob. Good on the 68-72 though.
Sgtpop Dec 16th, 04, 10:28 PM Ditto on the Headman 68196 :D
ACES-70 Dec 16th, 04, 10:46 PM Sorry,, gotta go with the 2" Hookers,, perfect fit, no dents,, no brainer
Chuck Dec 17th, 04, 12:18 AM I went with nickel plated Doug Thorleys. The Hookers did not fit as advertised. The headman headers worked but the Thorleys look great and flow real well. They just dropped in.

540cutlaSS Dec 17th, 04, 11:54 AM What size primaries do you want to run.
66BBCONV Dec 17th, 04, 12:41 PM I have never heard of anyone needing to dent the 1.75" Heddmans, but I have seen posts of other brands needing to be dented.

Ralph67 Dec 17th, 04, 3:11 PM Wow the headmans look good will they work on a zz502 as well?
afenderman67 Dec 18th, 04, 2:12 PM well i have 2" hookers on there now.i could go alittle smaller because the motor is a mild 396.
so either a 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 with a 3" collecter?
chris
afenderman67 Dec 23rd, 04, 2:24 AM with the heddman 68196 how is it the change the spark plugs? are they easy to get to?
66BBCONV Dec 23rd, 04, 8:14 PM No problem!
Bill
67ss Dec 23rd, 04, 11:58 PM I hate to say this but I had to dent the passenger side tube on the hedmans to get it to fit and it still hit the lower control arm mount and yes it has the original BB frame mounts with the correct motor mounts. Hooker 2" super comps fit like a glove.
chvyhs Dec 25th, 04, 11:23 AM I have the 2" Hooker and I had to dent them for the steering shaft.
Bad67SS Dec 26th, 04, 7:16 PM Have to agree with above...had to mod lower control arm mount to clear Hedman 68196 ( Original BB mounts)
