I wanted my caliper brackets to be that gold cad color and I didnt want to spend the money to replate them or get that eastwood kit to replicate it so I decided to make my own experiment. The Pictures dont look as good as it does in person and you dont get as much color change either. What do you guys think? I think they look pretty good for cheap rattle cans.

I was looking for this kind of stuff awhile back for my booster and MC lid, but couldn't find anything so I just painted them with regular paint.

I finally saw them, looks nice.

What did you do/use?

BTW, I noticed you said you are going to paint your car green, but your username would indicate otherwise. Do you have more than 1?

Well I went to auto zone and bought "Dupli-Color MetalCast"
I bought the Silver "Ground Coat", The Yellow Color, The Red Color, and the Green color.
All this was around $20 bucks so it wasnt bad.
My parts were sandblasted so I took some cleaner and wiped them down and let them set for an hour or so then sprayed the Ground Coat and let it dry.
Then I sprayed the Yellow Color and let it dry
Then I got both Red and Green Colors stood like 2 feet away from the part and light dusted each part with the Red and Green randomly and keep working with it until it looked even and the way I wanted it

My favorite color was blue and I was looking for a chevelle when I made this name. I found one and it wasnt blue and its going to be green so im stuck with this name.
