I am in need of new coils for the rear of my 68. Before I buy a set, a friend of mine has a new set of 68 El Camino rear springs sitting in his garage. Any ideas on if they would work??

Theory apparently being that the extra weight of rear seat, glass, longer roof panel etc. require a higher spring rate. Conversely...wouldn't EC springs drop the tail a little if used on a wagon?
