I must have a bad sending unit. I have an autometer gauge and it's not reading correctly. I have a fuel cell in the wagon also with a gm sending unit and it works fine. Guess I'll just switch to the fuel cell when the beast starts sputtering. If your wondering why I'm carrying so much fuel, it's because my mom lives about 600 miles away, and it gets to be a pain stopping for fuel every 100 miles or so.

it does, but not every 120 miles, and with the motor in this beast it seems my mileage is worse, but I have not got it on the road yet, just city driving, when I went to the station last time, the beast took 19. something gallons. I had 80.1 miles on the trip ometer. That worked out to 4.something MPG, But some of that gas was used sitting in the drive running while I worked on bugs. I imagine it will do much better when it's on the road. My truck with the motor had 3.43's, the wagon has 3.08's. oh well.
