just wondering. a guy has a bumper from a 66 wagon,also another guy has a 67 rear bumper and theyre telling me that its specific for each yr?! i thought that 64-67 wagons and elkys are the same. thanks rob

They are absolutly correct! They are specific to those years. Only 64' and 65' will enter change with one another. By the way, what does he want for the 66' bumper?

Yo Buick dude...Sorry, but all the bumpers are different. I'm not sure about the 6-7 but the 64,65 and 67 are without a dought not the same.64 is close to 65 but don't have reverse lights in the bumper like the 65. Just cruise around this site to check pictures of cars for the differences. Bad news is.. you gotta get a 65, Good news is.. it doesn't need to be from a wagon. Any 65 will work. 2dr,4dr,Elco or wagon, only limitation... can't have bumper gaurds unless you cut clearence holes in the tailgate. Please don't do that. 65 Wagons Rule!!!!!!!!!!! So do 64's

The 65 wagon bumpers are the same as sedan and coupe. The rubber spacers between the bumper and the body are different and the brackets are different. You can purchase the backup light housings and lensed through some of the repro venders. And yes, wagons rule.
