Okay so I turned 45 a few months ago and figure it was time for a mid life crisis car.I inform the wife its time for a play car, clean the garage take back the extra stall that has been home to the kids bikes scooters balls, bats and what ever else for years.So then after a couple months of searching I buy this 69 ELKY.Its only a 307 but has factory buckets,center console 4speed and is numbers matching with no rust, good paint, nice interior, fresh rebuild with mild cam and purrs like a kitten.I have decoded every number I can including protecto plate, dropped several hundred dollars on a new vinyl top and some trim.Washed the car a couple dozen times,detailed every thing I can get my hands on.
Finally I find this site and find out Im not alone.
Anyway great site' Ill be talkin at you all for advise and what not from time to time.

Haaa... yeah... the weather. It sucks.
I need to reclaim my own garage from me... I'm my own worst enemy.

Sigh... oh well, when spring arrives, maybe I'll get to play too!

Welcome! I'm sure you will appreciate this site as much as I do. Just a couple of nights ago, I had a problem that had me stumped. I described it in a post and within 10 minutes, someone replied with the correct diagnosis and fix. This is a great resource!!!!!
