I was given three doors and was told that they fit a 1966 Chevelle 2-door. I have two passenger and one driver-side doors. I'm not very familiar with this year Chevelle. Can someone tell me if they really are '66 Chevelle doors? Here's the link to some photos. Click the link and choose 1966 Chevelle doors. I'd be so grateful for some help with this.

I would say they are 66's or 67's (I think both years are the same, but don't take my word for it).

It looks like you probably have 2 '66 doors and 1 '67 door, unless the upper hinge was changed on any of the doors. I have always seen cast aluminum upper hinges on all of the 66's I've had (4) and others that I have seen. The 67's that I've seen have a stamped steel upper hinge (both 67 doors I have now have the stamped hinge and the repros are stamped. On the door with the stamped hinge, look on the inside for any evidence of the 6 or so holes for the lower malibu trim right at the lower body line. If not there, it was probably a 67 SS door and is a lot easier to use on a 66 than the regular malibu door (no holes to fill.

Note that they are Hardtop or Convertable doors not 2 door sedan.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to check the doors' hinges. Are the '66 and '67 doors interchangeable? Do they fit both year cars?

The 66 and 67 doors are interchangable.
