: 1970 El Camino Chevy red - where can you get touch up paint?

Have a 1970 El Camino painted about three years ago by the previous owner. There are a few small chips in it that I would like to touch up. Called the paint shop that did the work and they said it was 1970 Chevy red which per the paint charts looks like code 75. Where can you get touch up paint for this? Called the Chevy dealerships in the area with no luck and NAPA has nothing that far back. I called a automotive paint supplier in Richmond and they can scan the paint and create the color but sounds like it may be a bit expensive. Any other good sources?

Steve,
My car is currently that same color and I had a local guy from a body shop recently repaint my grill in the center as it was black and he had no trouble getting the paint. He then gave me a pint of it for $30(expensive) and I used it to touch up some nicks. So I'd try a local body shop.

I may even be able to send you my pint if it's legal to mail paint which I assume it is since Eastwood and POR mail it. But maybe I need a license or something?

Will go back to the paint guy and see what he says. When I spoke with him day before yesterday he did not offer up the touch up paint but pointed me to NAPA. Can speak with him again and ask nicely.
