vips66 Oct 6th, 01, 9:38 AM Can anyone tell me the correct color combos on a 66 Chevelle, show cars seem to vary from outside car color to gloss black. Eastwood sells underhood black semi-gloss that I plan to use on the inner wheel wells, would this be correct for the fire wall or would it have been outside car color ? ------------------ Joe Don_Lightfoot Oct 6th, 01, 3:24 PM Joe - just a couple of thoughts. The Eastwood Underhood Black is great paint and I've used it for years, including inner fenders. If that is to be used on the inner fenders, you should have a "flatter" black to use on the firewall and a "glossier" black to use on the heater box. That represents three different "gloss" types. The Firewall is an eggshell black...EW's Underhood black will work for you.
