I installed some of those repro front turn signal/parking lights on my 69 today. Look and fit great. Made by Goodmark. Can't belive they tooled up and made these. They are used on 69 only and are elky specific. Kinda pricey, though.

Also....for you true resto guys, the color of the wires does NOT match my original ones and there is no rubber sheath protecting them.

I'm new to this chat stuff but I'm an old 69 elky guy..And I was not aware that parking lights were el camino only, The chevelle lights are the same..But SS are different right? But for both Chevelle and El Camino, One has a bigger exposed lense than the other..Am I wrong or has things changed since my first 69 in 70? I'm not to old to be told something I didn't know so clue me in..

Only difference between the Malibu and SS is the stainless trim on the SS lens(I think.). The elky lens and housing assembly is much bigger than the others. And, from what I've been told and seen at shows, the SS elky got the same oddball lights.

I never knew that! Obvious difference. The front bumpers are the same though...right? If yes...I wonder why they bothered making different lights when virtually everything else from the dash forward is the same between Cars and E.C.s. I think I need to look at MY parking lights and see what I've got.

I'll have to go measure, but I think the distance between the upper mounting holes is different on the elky lights. My repro bumper has three holes in the bumper for each light.

Yes....the distance between the holes is closer on the elky lights.

Mine has Malibu Style Lights. Jeez, if they were gonna be "wrong" I'd at least want the shiny trim. Despite my disappointment, I think I'll hang on the ol' EC... my little girl's grown a bit attached to it. ;)

I've noticed several subtle differences. Besides the obvious vent window difference on the elky, the main window crank handle is located above the 2 chrome mylar stips on the door panel. Malibu's is below the strips.
