Just wondering if it would be a good idea to put some sort of rubber between fenders, inner fenders etc. to prevent scratching from movement? Stupid idea? Thanks fellas!

Brushable seam sealer will do the trick. As the name implies, it will seal the seams and joints better than rubber strips because it will adhere to the metal.

Fantastic! I have some seam sealer in a tube from A-Z, I think that will do the trick. Now if I can only finish POR-15-ing my firewall... it's almost drivable again!
