are the tailgate pins the same as the door pins and bushing's? and would i be able to buy these from auto part store under the help parts?

I used a Ford door hinge pin kit for the tailgate hinges on my 68. I think it turned out better than stock because it now has two bushings per hinge instead of one. I just punched out the old pins, installed the new, trimmed down the excess pin and welded them in place.
