Do you happen to know of any salvage yards in West Virgina that I can get a good 350 Chevy 4-bolt main complete motor thats ready to run other than needing a few gaskets and a pssible tune-up ? Where at in WV. are you located ? Thanks,Mark ------------------------1968 Chevelle Malibu (Weekend Cruiser) 1968 El Camino (Daily Driver)

Hey Mark
Ritchie county off US-50
On the motor you just have to keep checking the yards around your area 350's go fast and there not cheap, try 250 auto there in the book about 20 miles from you and they deliver.I have a 79'305 in running cond.and a 96 350(2-bolt)in need of a rebuild but nothing in 4-bolt running cond. You can try a Jasper Engine retailer in your area,There prices are not to bad.If you are needing brackets and everything try to find a older pick up that has a good engine, take what you need and scrap the rest.

Thanks Steve, 250 Auto didnt have one either. Ive tried mostly all the salvage yards around here and anyone that does have one , says it need a total rebuild and I dont want to go that route now. I'll keep checking U- Pull It in PA. and Ill have to broaden my search too. Sorry to interrupt your conversation.

Have you checked out the Goodwrench Truck engine? It's a new 350, 4-bolt engine with a 3-year warranty for around $1200. Hard to beat that.
